Luckily, we live in a part of the country that offers up a variety of shiny and bright lights that captivate people of all ages. Right here in Brooklyn Park, light-seekers can head to 8016 Upton Circle N. and view more than 50,000 lights with animated scenes. Downtown St. Paul's Christmas Tree and Holiday Lights
St. Paul's Christmas tree is located in Rice Park. During the holiday season, the entire lawn is draped with sparkling lights. This historic Landmark Center hosts several holiday events and even has a free ice skating rink.
Downtown Minneapolis' Holidazzle Celebration
The annual Holidazzle market takes place in Loring Park. Enjoy the food and crafts of local vendors, light displays, an ice skating rink. Santa even visits this special event!
Taylor's Falls Lighting Festival and Christmas Lights
Taylor’s Falls is the host of an annual lighting festival with entertainment, music, food, parades, and even reindeer! Several of the town’s boutiques and stores have sales and events. You can also experience a Victorian Christmas and see the decked out lights on these beautiful homes.
Summit Avenue Christmas Lights
Some of the most classic Victorian homes in the Twin Cities are on Summit Avenue. Residents who live on this street go all out with lighting up their yards and the street. Some of this “light art” is pretty tacky (but in an entertaining way!)
Downtown Minneapolis Macy's Santaland Holiday Show
A stunning holiday window display takes place at Macy’s on Nicollet Avenue. The free Macy's Santaland Holiday Show takes place inside the store. For over 50 years, the giant animatronic holiday display has captivated kids and adults.
